May I know what so funny?

redtrooper, your link doesn't work?

R

Hi Eds,
Sorry about the link. Would you mind give this a try?

Thanks.

I tried to do this redtrooper, but when I answered 'no' to the first question, it wouldn't let me onto the next page?

C

I had the same experience as Eds - perhaps you are only looking for people who already purchase from sites like Groupon?

R

Hi Eds,
All fields are mandatory. I think you need to make sure all fields are attended, else it won't allow you to goto next page. :)

R

Hi chickpea and Eds,
My survey do not restrict for people who have experiences in online group buying only. I have other respondents select "No" in questions 1 and they do able to proceed to next page. I believe the problem cause by the mandatory fields on the page.

Please give any try. Thank you.

The 'mandatory fields on the page; are indeed the problem and, it seems, an insoluble one.

R

Hi Eds,
insoluble? I don't quite understand what you try to say. You got any error message?
You need to select /fill in something for the mandatory fields. It means compulsory field. It will not let you to proceed to next page if you do not attend to the mandatory fields.

I think this is the common tool used by researchers globally. It is not something programmable or system that will cause any problem.

I have received tremendous response over globally (of course those who select "NO" for the first question). The form is fine.

Hi redtrooper, I have completed your survey now, but it is really not easy to complete if you answer 'no' to the first question. I finally did it by selecting 'other' for the compulsory questions, and putting 'none' or 'n/a' in the space. However, the next page was full of compulsory questions that were difficult to answer too, asking what I think of prices, reviews, reliability etc of sites that I do not use. I gave you some answers, but I think you need some 'don't know' options on your form.

P

Yup, you need a N/A option for Q2, or a 'Go to section something if No'. Or, you need to only ask people who use groupon to complete the survey. Or we could just pretend?
