I've just been accepted onto a MSc course. I graduated with a 2ii and have subsequently been offered a place without funding. I was just wondering if anyone out there recieved funding with a 2ii. I'm completely over the moon about the place, just a little curious with regard to funding.

i got a 3rd and have funding (although i was awarded the funding halfway through the course), but another girl on the same coures with a 2ii has had funding since the start of it

A career development loan can fund up to £8000.

When I got accepted for my MSc with a 2.2 I was told there was no chance of getting funding. In bio it seems highly unlikely a fresh grad with a 2.2 will be given funding.

it is very hard, probably next to impossible, but not totally impossible, its being in the right place at the right time
