I'm currently doing my MSc Health Psychology at the University of the West of England, Bristol, England. My dissertation study is about online health information and how people's thoughts about health and the type of online information they find influence their evaluation of that information and how they feel about it.
I would HUGELY appreciate it if anyone is able to spare ten minutes to participate in the study for me by completing a brief online questionnaire (link is below). All it involves is reading a piece of information about an illness condition taken from the internet and answering a few (all multiple choice) questions. Most people so far have completed it in less than ten minutes.
Please feel free also to pass the link on to anyone you feel might be interested in participating. The only criteria are that participants must be at least 18 years old and preferably not health care professionals (although this is not a huge problem).
Please feel free to contact me if you've got any questions.
Thanks so much to everyone who's already completed the survey.I still need lots more participants, especially males as I seem to have far more female participants at the moment (that's not to say I don't want females to still take part too because I do!!)
So if you haven't done it already and can spare ten minutes please click on the link below:
