No point braving it for me, no snow where I am (or hardly any, just bloody cold wind straight off the sea) but the campus is pretty deep in it apparently. Friends 20 miles up the road are snowed in and I'm watching it trying to snow but melting - very odd. I'd prefer to be in the office as my desk is right next to a radiator and I could take some layers off - feel a bit like the michelin man atm!

My heating is included and this is central London, so perhaps now I'll be shot dead, but I'm wearing

Oh dear!!!!

Just looked out the window after typing this and it's snowing!?!??!?!?!?!?!?

:-( hubby has stolen our dog - he's working from home so she's decided to stay with him in the warm living room while I'm upstairs and as we only have one laptop, I have to be up in the cold on my PC :-(

He tried to get to work today, but southeastern trains are the WORST SERVICE EVER! they weren't running, even though their boards and website were saying they were, but we went to the station twice, once at 6.30 and then again at 7.30 and all trains were cancelled, even though all their info boards and websites were saying they were fine. Stoopid train service! And they've just put the price up 12.8%!

My cat is trying to get on my lap - wouldn't want to risk the dog though - she's rather bouncy! My ability to write is shot as it is, she may just push it over the edge lol.

bug, I'm jealous! I want a radiator *sob* I'm 5.2C in my study right now.... *shiver*

Sneaks that's terrible!!!!! Bad enough they aren't running but to let people go there only to be turned away is bloody criminal - especially at that price!

No animals to keep me warm :-( although I am in the process of convincing my fiance that it is vital that we get a little doggie!

I've just made it onto campus and perfect timing as it's a raging blizzard outside now.
However, I was wearing:
ugg boots (proper ones - Emu - really recommend them - best thing I've bought in ages, so much better than the cheapo versions)
hiking socks

MASSIVE khaki fleece from outdoor shop
big winter coat
alpaca wool scarf
hat

However, our walk onto campus got me a bit overheated so I've now taken off the hat and the fleece and the coat.
Heating seems to be on strong here so will be fine until I go to my seminar later - reckon that room will be freezing.

Came to Uni as it is a darn site warmer in my office that at home. Also convinced OH to drive me as he had spent ages this morning de-icing the car in case he got called up to work, and I suggested that if he drove me it would mean that wasn't a waste of time!

Great question Sneaks! It's good to see I'm not the only one piling up layers at the moment - I had doubts after seeing this girl half naked on her way to school earlier (some people!)... Me:

A sleeveless but superwarm kind of blazer when out
Leg warmers on my arms + gloves when out
Undies of course

It's all blue, yellow or black... I can't quite explain why but it makes me feel like some sort of "classy tramp"!
