Hi I am just wondering modest corections of a PhD viva outcome referes to the major ammendement ? . Some universities in UK have "modest" as outcome, while some others refere as "major". Are they same or any difference? Thanks in advance.

I have never heard of modest corrections before but I would assume that they are minor corrections. Though it really depends on how long you are given to do them; 3months should be minor and 6 months major.
