This is an open invitation to anyone over the age of 18 to participate in an online research study investigating the role of several psychological factors in relation to body weight. If you decide to take part, all you need to do is follow this link:
http://sdu-surveys.herts.ac.uk/health
You will be asked to complete a selection of questionnaires measuring psychological factors such as mood, stress, adult attachment styles and social rank. This study will also take the types of foods consumed and the amount of physical activity completed into account. The survey will take approximately 20 – 30 minutes to complete. All your responses will be anonymous.
This research will form part of a longitudinal study that will hopefully enable us to understand the factors involved in changes in bodyweight such as successful weight loss by a formally overweight individual, which may be followed by weight regain or successful weight maintenance. However, it is also important to understand how an individual who has always been within the normal range in bodyweight enables to regulate this weight maintenance. Therefore, with your assistance we will be able to recruit individuals with a range of bodyweight in order to gain a better understanding of weight regulation.
Your assistance would be gratefully appreciated.
