U received my phd in June 2022 and in nov 2022 I attended my convocation. I have been looking for post doc since Nov 2021 before my thesis submission. I get no reply or a mailing saying I am not suitable for their project even though all the criteria mentioned matches with my profile. I have 4 first authored paper. Due to covid,I have to let go of a set of experiments which was cell line studies because of time constrain and limited lab access. I don't know how to proceed now.

The first post doc position is usually through recommendation from your supervisor. Any reason why he/she is not helping you get that first job? Like calling his/her friend to see if there is any vacancy for postdoc? I find it weird that 4 first authored papers and you can't get a job. Is there anything wrong with your recommendation letter?
