How can it not be, when Floella Benjamin is to be given a peerage?

For those of you who don't know who she is, she was a well known Children's TV presenter for those of us in our late 20s to late 30s. A national treasure, if you will.

And yes, I really am that easily pleased :-x

Must admit it brought a smile to my face too, and I'm not usually swayed by peerages etc.

I'm in my late 30s and she'll always remind me of Play School.

I had encounter with her once and she wasn't very nice at all, so I can't say I'm pleased.

I dont know who Floella Benjamin is :-), peerage for her is good indeed and also TODAY itself is a great day!!!
