Writing for Journals With BSc

A

Hi,

I have completed my BSc earned through e-learning and waiting for the results of my final dessertation. I want to publish some articles related to my final project topic in relevent magazines.

Is it accepted to write with a BSc? I mean is there any considerations given by the editorial board to an article submitted by a student with BSc against the articles submitted by people with high qualifications?

Please let me know,

You will have to add your supervisor on as second author anyway, so they won't care what qualifications you have. Often BSc projects will not be in depth enough for publication in academic journals, but I say go for it!

Hi Arunsam

I have been published in different books and journals from extractions taking from my work in my BSc, however, it was my lecture/supervisor who did the publishing. So i cannot give feedback on how the process went.

I cannot see any reason why your work would not be accepted and published.

Best advice would be to get a paper or an article drafted up, look around for magazines etc in the same field and submitt to them. They can be really helpful and give you really good feedback.

All the best with your furture publications

Thanks a lot for your kind advice. Actually, I am in the process of drafting the articles as you mentioned. Thanks once again.

I have friends who published from their PhD.

Huge congratulations that you're up to publication standard. My BSc dissertation was terrible!
