Hi I am towards the end of my first year, AND I ONLY WROTE ABOUT 10000 WORDS of the litearture review?

Is this appropriate?

I feel so stressed out that I did not meet my expeactations and plan becuase of the constant questions re-direction

I now ended up waisting lots of time and reading very little?

Any one feeling the same? Do you think I can make it up? because the frustration is holding me back aloooooooot.

I hadn't done a review at all - of course you can make up the rest. The first year is often mainly about finding your direction. Just keep going and don't worry too much.

are you serious? that's great! like, 10% of your thesis (depending on the length) and the majority of your thesis will be your original findings right!

also, just be aware that your literature review will change as you incorporate the new literature that comes out each month.
