I have a VAIO and am waiting to hear that Sony have recalled batteries from these too. Bit worried :-(

My battery isn't listed on the wesbite as being at risk, but I'm worried about it still

I'd like to send back my toshiba battery, theres something wrong with it.....

I've been searching the web and found a site that said it was Dell's recharging system that was to blame (was incompatible with Sony batteries - don't you think that's something they should have checked before selling 4 million of them?!) That made me feel a bit better about my Vaio.

My battery works fine, not that I give a toss, as I use some mysterious concept called 'the mains'

But Stu, even though I don't use my battery much either, laptops are supposed to be not just compact and pretty but mobile.
