I'm doing some market research regarding online distance learning MScs in Biocuration or Chronobiology, and I'm wondering if these are areas that people might be interested in studying. Both MScs would be aimed at graduates with biology or medicine backgrounds.

Chronobiology examines periodic phenomena in living organisms and their adaptation to solar and lunar related rhythms. This MSc would most likely be a stepping stone to a PhD or research post. Biocuration is an emerging discipline in which scientists extract information from databases and literature to help other scientists. This could lead to a job in the pharma or nutriceuticals field, or to a post in biological publishing.
