Hello,
I am looking for information on PhDs in media and human studies in UK to be taken as distance learning - probably I could attend once a month. I live and work Switzerland, I have a US Master Degree that I got long time ago, in Communication. I been working in New Media ever since but I really would go back with my studies. I am in my 50s, so an old student, but very motivated. I just need some hints on how to start searching.Thank you in advance.

Nicoiaco. I'm not in your field but am doing a distance learning PHd in the UK and am only half a decade less wise than you, so it is possible. I meet my supervisor in person every few months but talk or email at least weekly.

I suspect that if you are self funding it will not be difficult to find a supervisor with similar research interests.
