i'm international student holding a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology , i would like to do a phd in the uk , i was wondering can i do distance learning phd or part time , and for part time do i have to be in uk ,or i can come some times during the year to attend some lectures, exams and researches ( as i'm currently working abroad in my country) please help , thanx (email Aroma@doctor.com)

A PhD by distance learning is a posibility, but the criteria are very strict. You will need to be involved in an approved research project in your home country, which probably has strong links to the institution in which you'd like to study. The Open University International Centre for Distance Learning may be a good place to start your search.
