If I got a 2.2, would it really be the end of the world? I'd feel I can't live with myself if I got such a grade, partly because everyone sees me as clever and a straight A student, and I don't associate a 2.2 with straight As (only a 1:1 with that).
If I got a 2.2 and I did a BSc and got a 2.1/1.1 or A (don't know how the grading works for an MSc), would this compensate the 2.2 in a BSc? So employers would overlook the 2.2 at BSC? A BSc is usually harder so should be supercede the BSc result.
I don't want to do a Masters just because of this potential outcome, but I do also enjoy my topic area. I am a Brunel student, I study in IT, and I am (obviously) in my 3rd year - exams over. What do unis mean by saying you need a good honours degree for an MSC? Would a 2.2 be adequate or would I have to push and pleade my uni's admissions department(s)?
