Aaargh! I have been trying to do this for hours but it won't work. I have an old iphone 3 with interviews that I need to download onto my new laptop (so I am afraid to synch as I keep on reading that that would erase everything??) Any ideas really welcome!

Hi, you should be able to email the memo to yourself and then you can access the file through your email on the laptop.

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't email them as they were too long but I decided to take the plunge and synch the phone anyway - and I didn't lose them - phew!
