I'm wondering if anybody out there can help. I have been asked to undertake a large scale analysis of documents written by the World Bank on a specific topic (there are over 5000 of them with a quick search).

I was told to use downthemall in Firefox and then export them to Wordstat.

However, I am having difficulty using downthemall I can only get it to download the links on each page and not the actual document.

Has anyone done anything similar to this before and can they give me some tips on how to do it? There doesn't seem to be much guidance on the net on downloading documents using this tool.

Any tips would be appreciated.

I've never used either of those tools but... are you sure you need to look at them all? Is it worth developing a more refined search to reduce the number of documents?
