Just wanted to say hey! I've beeen lurking on here for a while whilst I was trying to make up my mind whether to apply for a PhD or not - all your stories have been really helpful :-)

Well I jumped in, I now have an offer of a place from Leeds, just applying for funding now - fingers and toes (and anything else that bend) crossed!

No doubt I'll be back here again over the next few months - and if I get funding, years.
