I am seeking postdoc in analytical chemistry

P

Dear all,
I have completed my Ph.D. in the 2000 in Analytical Chemistry (from Indian University), but due to financial situation I prefer to join teaching job. Recently I am working as a Asst. Professor. I want to go for PostDoc in Analytical Chemistry (water analysis trace metals, method development and validation of pharmaceutical materials, analysis of various foods, fruits and other stuffs for toxic metals). Is it possible to get it now? I am very much interested to go for postdoc.
How can I get the postdoc position, I need your guidance. I have some research publications as well. I hope some one give me proper advice.
one more point I would like to ask, with having a Indian degree, may I get the lecturer / Asst. prof. jobs in developed countries? if it so kindly give me reference site and relevant information. I would be very thankful for the same.

hi pnpatil welcome to the Forum
I think it's possible for you to do a postdoc if you're keen on it! have you looked at www.findapostdoc.com/ ? Maybe you can find something there.

I'm not sure about getting lecturer/assistant professor jobs in developed countries; what I know is that it can get difficult securing a job :-) but please don't let this discourage you.

Best of luck
