a lot. three years stipend, uni fees, plus whatever it costs the company to have you (e.g. paying someone to mentor you, equipment if you need to work on company premises etc.).
The company sponsoring me are paying me an extra £3k a year, then in the region of £3-£4k tutition fees per year and then paying for my accomodation when i am working in their labs which will be in the region of 9 months over the 3 years. So I guess all in all they will be forking out a hefty amount!!
I am getting department scholarship. So they have to fund me i guess. I was just shocked when I told my supervisor that i made some industry contacts then I got an email asking if they could sponsor me instead. I dont understand...
