I am just about to start a part-time PhD, so I thought would be helpful to join this forum. Relate to alot of the other posts - for me, I am very excited about it, however, my educational background is not brilliant, as a late bloomer I'm still learning alot about academic life, therefore this early phase is alot to do with a feeling of lack of confidence. I have just finished my first degree in Sociology and very enthusiastic about starting this PhD.
