Hope you are well.
I'm a chemical engineering Masters student at the University of Cape Town majoring in chemical engineering (process integration/optmisation). I submitted my Masters thesis back in July 2019, and I just received a feedback stating that I passed with distinction.
My thesis involves the synthesis of combined heat and mass exchange networks (CHAMENs) with renewables considering environmental impacts. I worked with theoretical case studies and also have implemented Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in the model to quantify environmental impacts associated with heating/cooling utilities and rich and lean streams.
I have contacted a few professors in this field, but seems like funding is the main problem. If somebody knows about a excellent universities with funding to carry on with my PhD, would you kindly let me know? or any advice would be very helpful.
I didn't add many details in this post, but If you want to know more, I'm more than happy to provide extra information.
Thank you for your time and consideration :)
