hi!!! does linear trend test mean repeated measures GLM or does it mean GLM polynomial? thanks satchi
In what sense are you wanting to test linear trend?
help sneaks!!! someone told me to use linear trend as part of the anova but I have no idea what that means
I think they're referring to contrasts. If you have done post-hocs there is no need to do contrasts as they essentially do the same thing. But if they have told you to do contrasts then you may want to go back and do them.
thanks sneaks! is it Tests of within subjects contrasts
======= Date Modified 08 Apr 2010 14:42:27 =======I believe so but without my trusty Andy Field I wouldn't want to commit! Have a look at the 'andy field companion website' - it has podcasts on it for a range of subject, I think he talks about contrasts on one of them. http://www.uk.sagepub.com/field3e/SPSSstudentmovies.htm see 'chapter 10' and there is one on 'planned comparisons' - AKA contrasts
ok :-) :-) :-) thanks a lot happy satchi
they can take a while to load, but it will do eventually!
hehe yes you are right :-) :-) :-) thanks again happy satchi
