Should it be 'hyperlink' or just link?

I feel like my mum when she calls the charts 'the hit parade' when I use hyperlink lol.

lol I'd maybe use hyperlink, it's totally clear exactly what you mean then, and it may sound a big OTT but then when you have to reference every single thought you've had or point you've made in papers then I tend to stick on the side of caution for things like this...when I remember of course!
