I was accepted to IR programs at Kings and SOAS and a Human Rights program at LSE - I am totally at a loss for which school to choose. I am American and have been told repeatedly that LSE carries the most clout but I am hesitant to choose this route as it is a more narrowly focused course that may limit career prospects.

Does anybody have any insight into the international reputation of these three schools? I want the best academic experience but need to be sure that the degree will help open doors back in the US (or potentially abroad but who knows).

Thanks!

LSE definitely has the best rep in the US, but KCL is higher in the world rankings (if you take notice of those things). For IR, I'd say without doubt go to LSE, but I have no idea about its reputation for a human rights course (in fact, I didn't know they had one).

With respect to academic experience, I think you'll get a very good one at either of the three colleges.
