Could anyone tell me when the next main round of funding for biological type PhDs will occur? Im trying to find a PhD in marine microbiology or a related subject at the moment and it seems that I may have missed the main application period?

Well there still could be studentships available now but I suppose the next lot will probably be to start in January 2008

If they are to start in 2007 when would the application process begin?
