Manchester - good for post grads? +which halls?

M

Hi all

Looking at Mechanical Engineering Design at UoM, anyone got any experience of this, or the place generally?

Also, which is the best hall to aim for, preferably one that is fairly lively..?

Many thanks,

Max

Hiya, Ive been accepted to do a masters at manchester in september. I applied to the uni halls but i was told that it wasnt certain whether id get a place because they allocate places to foreign postgrads first and then we get whatever is left over. So prob best to look into private halls :S U defo studying at manchester?x

V

What? O.o I got accepted there! That is so unfair! I was hoping to live in the halls. I better phone on Monday about what's still availbale!

V

chaly_xx can you tell me please what halls you applied for? I was going to apply for the cheapest ones: Hardy Farm, Moberly Hall, Grovener and Whitwork park. Thanks.

M
