I am currently studying my MSc degree almost near the end of my diploma stage, and I am sort of stuck on what to to do next!

I applied for a PhD place at the same university but due to a June start date and me not able to complete my MSc by then, I was not selected for interview!

I will obviously keep trying as other PhD projects will come up, when I able to more stand a chance.

I am just wondering what other options I could do when I finish my masters while I keep searching for a PhD place?
not sure if anyone has done related study (not necessary degree level, probably going back to level 2 or level 3, and do some "brushing up" skills on a part time course at the local college)
