Does MSc results come with class ranking, like first, 2:1, 2:2? And is there any difference in terms of qualification between an MSc after a 3 year BSc and a 4 year MSc couse?
I think, having taken a few MSc. modules during my PhD, that an MSc is graded as pass (usually above 50%), or pass with merit (60-69%) or pass with distinction (70% or more).
Wasn't sure about that so did not pass comment, although I would have thought that they would be equivalent - I'm sure the FAP team will be to confirm.
As has been said Masters course grades are either Fail, Pass or Distinction (some courses do have an intermediate Merit grade). We would imagine that a four year MSc would be treated the same as a BSc + MSc.
