Need Timetable Help!!

G

I have been searching the Net for days, ever since I got my offer letter, but can't find a PhD timetable to use as a model for my own. I am undertaking a doctorate in humanities. Any one out there know of a link for that??

Just go with the flow - have regular meetings with your supervisor.

Hi .. are you funded by the ESRC. if so they do send students a very good timetable. I am not sure if you can access this via their website but it may be worth a try.

The ESRC timetable comes from UK Grad, and is a version of one produced by the University of Melbourne, http://www.gradstudies.unimelb.edu.au/phd/managecandidature/calendar/. This is a good generic timetable. Your University will have specific requirements, e.g. for progress monitoring, upgrades etc. I do a formal review of progress and forward plan every 3 months, discussed with my supervisors - you could suggest this to your supervisor if it is not a requirement at your Uni
