Non-UK students: Are you funded - and how?

G

Are you an international student who managed to get funding in UK? How much do you get and how much do you have to pay yourself? What is your field? Thank you.

G

Yes I got 3/4 of the fees from the ORS the rest from the dept of chemistry where I am going to. The living allowence from my supervisor but not sure how much since I will be starting this october but 9000+ pounds is what I have been promised

G

I'm fully funded and get 10 000 £ a year. My grant is an EU grant speciffically for non british students from europa. It started jannuary 2003 and I was the only person who applied for the two positions that were on offer. My field is genetics

G

I think it is a bit easier if you are a EU national a lot tougher if you are outside the EU

G

My funding is from the University which was opened for African students only and was advertised on this website, am really enjoying the research too.If you are hoping to get a funded PhD just keep on looking don't give up and trust in God to open the door for you. Wishing you all the best!!
