Hi.. There is a good pharmacology degree programme at King's College London. Its a 12 month programme - I studied at King's for my BSc (Biochemistry) but I've heard only good things about the pharmacology course!

Hi Archana,
I have completed my Pharmacy from India and would like to pursue my masters in pharmacology in UK. I got to know that after pursuing this course from a university in uk one has to gain a license or register himself to work as a pharmacologist in UK?
Is this true ?

G

You will need to register with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain if you wish to practise as a pharmacist in the UK (see http://www.rpsgb.org.uk/). This is not required for working as a pharmacologist.

Believe it or not there is a difference between Pharmacology and Pharmacy. If i were you i would check which subject you are enquiring about. You can not be a practicing pharmacist unless you have done a degree/masters/pre-reg in pharmacy
