When is the key time of year for PhDs being advertised? I know they are all year round as & when the funding becomes available, but is there a kind of core time when they are released? A couple of supervisors I've spoken to have said thet they will be advertised Jan/Feb time? Is this true or is it just their particular ones?

I have also been told to look at theuniversity web pages in dec to see what is avail, but contac potential supervisors now to let thm know u are interesed

Our busiest time is from November through to April, with Jan/Feb probably being the most active time. The advantage of FindAPhD is that many labs profile there research before grants are awarded. The sooner you start looking, the more likely you are to find the project you're after.
