i have joined phdforum recently.if i am interested in any research projects beside funding do i need to contact the supervisor first.can you please tell me how to proceed

I think it is a good idea to contact any potential supervisors, outlining your interest in the project and you can always send them a CV.

As soon as you have planned to get admission in UK universities it is better to look at the universities website or Phd vacancies of your research interest and then collect the details whether you have to apply online to the university or you individually contact the supervisor....try this and tell me how it works out.......
