Hello! I am new here! I am Dona and I am doing PhD in Marketing (first year). Recently, I have been looking for a topic in which I am going to work as my PhD dissertation. i have a meeting with my supervisor this Saturday, and until then I have to come up with something. I have to propose a topic as something I am interesting in. I want to ask you guys, whoever is involved in business/marketing studies, what do you think about this topic "The impact of TV Advertising on consumer buying behavior". I also want to focus my study in retail industry. What do you think? Answer highly appreciated!

I am also in my first year of my PHd and i will have my first meeting next Monday . I am also writing my thesis in marketing and communication. as i am also just about to start like you, my topic is quit general .the topic you have chosen is interesting but it is still general . My advise to you is to read publications done on the same era of research . This will help you have a focused discussion with your professor on the impact of TV Advertising on consumer buying behavior.
