I am currently considering doing a PhD in pure mathematics. I live in Ireland, and have been in discussions with maths departments at Trinity, Maynooth, and Galway. Does anybody have any ideas of which one has the best research rating? I can't find this info anywhere for Irish Universities.

I think that Trinity is the best of the three though all 3 are quite good. Look at the supervisor and his/her group and also on the funding before you decide
