I am having problems with a research project (it's not part of my PhD, it's a short contract that I am doing with my supervisor).

I need to recruit mature students to participate in focus groups. I'm getting nowhere. I've got onto mature student societies, programme board chairs, access offices, they [say that they] have all forwarded my invitation but no students are volunteering.

Have you any ideas on recruitment? I'm really stuck here. I'd very much appreciate any advice that anyone has for me.
