Thesis Binding

M

Hello, just wondering if anyone out there has had the same problem as me. I will be submitting my thesis very soon and am thinking about binding now. For my PhD, I developed an intervention and would like to submit the intervention materials as part of the thesis. Has anyone come across a paper pocket or pouch or something similar that I could bind into the thesis appendices and then slip the additional materials into after binding? Been trawling the internet for hours! It's a simple concept and must exist but I can't find one! Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

I've never heard of or seen anything like that but I'm sure they exist. Maybe check with your binding department or go into a stationary shop?

Hi Maebh,

the rules regarding thesis formatting and binding are very strict. So, if for example you need to include an A3 page, you should have asked written permission months in advance.

I assume that the same applies for all non-standard features you want to include. I very much doubt you are allowed to included loose pages. Check with the registration office in your school.

PS If it is necessary to include audio or visual material, you can include a cd in a plastic pouch attached on the front page.
