I have been doing some thinking about how language models can be used to aid in preparing a manuscript for journal publication (e.g., copy editing, formatting according to a style guide, etc.), as it can take a lot of time and energy to navigate a journal's formal style requirements and stylistic conventions.

Presently, I am exploring how transformer models might be used to ease such tasks. I am posting here for a two reasons. First, I am hoping to gauge interest in this sort of NLP application. Second, I am hoping to hear your thoughts on the matter (from the perspective of a user or a developer).
