Argh! The viva is at the end of July in two weeks! 2 weeks! Freak out!!!!!

OMG that's fast!!!! I thought you'd have a couple of months - hey Chris, better sooner than later, get it over with, be Dr Chrisrolinski and spend the summer lounging in the sun rather than re-reading the thesis for the millionenth time ;-)

Oh my, that is really fast. I agree with Sneaks and Stressed. Better get it over with and be able to relax next month. 2 weeks should be sufficient to prepare, I'm sure. At least your thesis is still fresh in your memory now.

Relax, take a deep breath, and from tomorrow on you can start preparing for the viva. Try to relax tonight.

I can't help out with valium but I could send you a brown paper bag to breath into :-) I haven't heard of anyone failing their phd due to typos :-) Good job really or we'd all be up that well known sticky brown creek without a paddle - now BREATHE!!!!!

The mock vivia is a week off. I'm so freaked out that I have my thesis and need to defend it in front of my sups role-playing as examiners. I'm so worried that will be sorely dissapointed/angry that I didn't have the energy/motivation/ability to put all their suggestions to play in the final writing-up month/week. :(

Have brought my train tickets for my viva all the way "down South" and currently preparing for the mock viva later this week. The Jackson and Tinkler book that was suggested is very good :)
