I applied for PhD at the University of Melbourne in the beginning of this month. The PhD will be at the department of molecular biology and biochemistry. I have a Masters in chemistry and biochemistry from Texas Tech University, Texas, USA (with a 4.0 GPA). I have an experience of working as a research assistant for about 2.5 years. I also have a publication as a second author. I have few questions if anyone can help me with them:
1. What honestly are my chances of getting into the program?
2. What does the admissions staff usually look at while deciding for a PhD application at Unimelb?
3. How long do I need to wait for the outcome of my application?
It would be great if someone from University of Melbourne could help me with these questions.
Thank you
