Hello
I am considering applying to the universities in UK for masters in finance and then will continue with the Phd program in the same field. I am an international student with a first class BBA(hons) degree in business studies. I was hoping if someone could provide me a list of universities with good masters research program in finance. Also how difficult is it for international students to get funding for the Phd program ?
I have got an offer from Lancaster University Management School for MRes finance program. I saw the Msc finance course of Manchester Business School and the course looks promising. But I'm not aware about the reputation, faculty and resources of these universities.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Some general advice, though I'm not a business studies person about PhDs and possible sources of funding.

Bear in mind I wasn't a Business Studies person.
