Hi,i'm an italian biologist i've 34 years old and i've a master degree with best marks.My dream is to do a PhD in Ireland in marine biology.Have i any hopes to parteipate to studentships fundings or i'm too in late with my age?

I don't think age has much to do with funding applications, so if you want it, go for it.

Of course you're not too old - I'm older than you! Not that I was successful this year lol, but everyone has the same chance and actually mature students statistically get more funding than younger students so I wouldn't worry. Go for it!

I don`t think age is a matter. It`s actually more a problem of having experience in the field and having published ;-)
