I am Indian national living in the UK since September 2006. I am presently on Tier 1 visa. Can come on tell me, since I've lived in the UK for over a period of 3 years, do I qualify for Home student fees for a PhD? Or as an International Student?

If you're a permanent resident of 3 years, you should qualify for Home fees.

I thought it depends on whether the 3 years were spent in full time education though?

Dear missspacey, how do you define permanent resident? I have lived here for 3 years. 1.5 years as a student and a year on a IGS scheme and from then on on Tier 1 General. What say?
