I have just completed my PhD and after several rejections for postdoc and academic teaching posts I am widening my search beyond Europe.
I had heard that India is looking out for academics and have seen that the IISER in Mohali is looking for academics. A quick search has revealed that it is a bit of a soul less looking 'newtown' which has sprung up around the very new 'knowledge city'. Does anyone have any experience of these new institutions in India and have any words of caution or encouragement about them?
thanks
Andy
