You do have a point there, i checkedout the curriculum and only in the third semester do they have to do with Lux. courses, 1 & 2nd semester are the same courses as the other 3 MBA given by the same institution. On the other hand you're right to not limit my opportunities, yet I have a diploma in Hotel management (because at the time the specific industry had a future - did'nt really liike it to be honest), then I got a Bachelor in Business Administration (wanted in HR a BA yet decided not to limit my myself), the result is that I always do something I don't really like, so I though for a change I would do something I like irrelevant of whats going on around!
:-)
To be honest i had taken the decision to do this MBA before the crisis broke, now things are quite weird.
An internship is not so easy here in Greece and the company am working in, the managers are not so keen in educating the staff, they are more worried that their staff will leave them if they educate them, to tell you the truth I am quite disappointed with the company.
Ok to get the record straight am paying my way through this. Work in the private sector and the company is not planning to fund me at all since it does not really have anything to do with the Luxury sector.
Yes there is a Luxury sector and it is a real MBA concerning this sector.
Furthermore, am also thinking in starting something of my own in the franchise sector!!!
