I have started a PhD in Biology, and just two months in I'm having serious doubts. I am in need of advice! I know that I do not want to have a career in research and don't want a job to take over my life...but at the same time want an interesting career! I have been considering clinical science training! Do any of you have such doubts and am I mad to be doing a PhD if I dont want to be in research? Would more vocational experience be a better idea? Do you think an MPhil would be more helpful? Any advice would be greatfully recieved!
