That's quite a predicament with Student Finance England! From my experience and what I've heard from others, it’s common for funding to be restricted if you're not residing in the UK during your studies.
Hello there,
I have completed my Msc in chemistry this year(May) with overall cgpa 8.5. i want to try for phd abroad in organic chemistry. But i donot know how to proceed.
During my msc , i had a project on computational chemistry. So i donot hve any experience on working in a oragnic lab except the msc lab courses and one summer internship during bachelors. My relationship with my msc thesis guide was not good. I couldnot find any interest in that project and couldnot wrote my thesis properly.
1. How much weightage does the msc thesis work carry while aplying for phd abroad?
2. My parents want me to continue my higher studies in india. So i gve interview and got selected in iiser bhopal.but i still want to try once. I havent taken any english profiency test.
Could anyone here doing phd in chemistry give me suggestion.
I mean is it worth it if i leave the phd opportunity at iiser bhopal and try for abroad. If yes then plz guide me.
