I am PhD student in sociology. I am interested to analyse the school curriculum, resources and pedagogical practices employed in India to determine its hidden role in the reproduction of social inequality of caste and gender. What data analysis method would be best for analyzing official documents for this purpose? Your detail suggestion would be great help for me.

Can anyone explain me in easy language on Pierre Bourdieu central concepts- habitus, symbolic violence and cultural capital?
No I am not taking grounded theory approach. However, I wanted to know from them that how is schooling play negative role in society? for example- teaching ideologies of gender inequality, social inequality?
Will it be biased?
I am interested to make focus group discussion with school children parents on school and school activities. The main aim of this discussion is to identify hidden mechanism of schooling system in reproduction of social inequality. But I am still confused, which pattern or theme should I talk with them? Any suggestion, comments would be highly appreciated.
