My subject area is English Literature, in particular Gothic Literature and the figure of the vampire.

Hi Guys, I'm new to this forum so....hello!I'm trying to write a PHD proposal at the moment but I just feel that mine's lacking a certain something.Two questions: 1. Is it enough to name drop relevant theorists and their work or do I need to be far more specific? 2. Does anyone have some general pointers for me that just cannot b eelft out of a PHD proposal. Thanks in advance :)
